Privacy, in plain words.

What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

§1Who we are

This website belongs to JFP Weddings, the wedding photography studio of Jad Flayhan, at Municipality Street, Hazmieh, Lebanon, with a second base in Madrid. JFP Weddings is responsible for the personal data described here (the "controller", in legal terms).

For anything about your data, write to info@jfpweddings.com.

§2What we collect

When you write through the inquiry form, we receive what you choose to tell us:

  • Your name and your partner's name
  • Your email address, and your phone or WhatsApp number if you add it
  • Your wedding date or roughly when, the place and the venue
  • Guest numbers, the collection and budget you mention, and how you found us
  • Your message, and any tailored collection you put together on the Collections page
  • If you reached us by clicking one of our adverts, the click's own reference — so we can tell which adverts lead to weddings. It says nothing about you.

When you simply browse, nothing that identifies you is collected. The site counts which photographs are opened or lingered on, to show the most-loved frames; those counts contain no cookies, no IP address and no identifier, and are skipped entirely if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

Your choice of gallery view and of Europe or Lebanon on the Collections page is remembered only in your own browser (local storage), and whether you switched the music on is remembered for that visit only (session storage). None of it reaches us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

If you arrive from one of our adverts, the reference the advert puts in the address is kept for that visit only, in the same way, and reaches us only if you choose to send the form. Closing the tab forgets it.

Visits are counted by Vercel Web Analytics — how many people came, which pages they read and which country they came from. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and keeps no identifier, so one visit can't be tied to another or to you.

This site uses no cookies and no advertising trackers.

§3Why we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry, check availability and send you a quote or the collection guide: steps you ask us to take before we work together. You also confirm this with the tick box on the form.
  • To plan and photograph your wedding, if we work together: to fulfil our contract.
  • To keep the site secure and working, to understand which photographs people love, and to know which of our adverts bring couples who go on to marry with us: our legitimate interest, using anonymous data only.

§4Who helps us

A few trusted services handle data on our behalf, only to run this site and the studio:

  • Vercel — hosts this website and counts visits anonymously
  • Supabase — stores inquiries and the anonymous photo counts, on servers in the EU (Frankfurt)
  • Resend — delivers the site's emails, from its EU region
  • Titan — the studio's email inbox, where your inquiry arrives
  • Cloudflare — runs the site's domain and serves the photographs

None of them may use your data for their own purposes. Where a provider is based outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

§5How long we keep it

If we don't end up working together, we keep your inquiry for up to one year after your last message, in case you write again, and then delete it.

If we do work together, we keep what's needed for as long as your wedding and our legal and tax records require.

§6Your photographs

Weddings shown on this site appear with the couple's permission. If you appear in a photograph here and would like it removed, write to us and it will be taken down.

§7Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • See the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop or limit how we use it, or object to it
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

Write to info@jfpweddings.com and you'll have a reply within one month. If you're unhappy with the answer, you can complain to a data protection authority, such as the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es) in Spain, or the authority where you live.

§8Keeping it safe

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the database is closed to the public, and access to your inquiry is limited to Jad and, where it's needed to plan your wedding, his team.

§9Children

This site is for couples planning their wedding and isn't meant for anyone under 16.

§10Changes

If what the site does with data changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
